Nick has been officially hired as the musical director for the Washington DC production of the DeafWest/RoundaboutBig River at the Fords theater (yes, the theater where Lincoln was shot). Rehearsals begin the first week of March. The show opens on March 18 and runs through May 5 with a likely extension through June 5. Nick is very much looking forward to conducting this groundbreaking production.

Nick and Scott Guy’s musical version of Sherlock Holmes will have a staged reading at Musical Theater West in Long Beach, CA on March 20. Since it’s opening weekend for Big River, Nick won’t be able to attend, but will leave it in Scott Guy’s capable hands.

Nick and Scott are also forming a new company with television producer Bud Schaetzle to develop Happily Ever After, After All and several other similar projects. Details will be forthcoming.

This month will see Nick in Columbus, OH; Elmira, NY; Wilmington, DE and New Haven, CT before traveling to Washington DC.
